Privacy Policy

Fern & Lake is a static content site. There is no account system, no comments, and no tracking beyond the bare minimum below.

What we collect

Email list (Sender): if you join for a free photo map or packing checklist, we store your email to deliver the file and a short welcome sequence. Unsubscribe anytime with one click.
Order data: if you buy a printable itinerary pack, payment and delivery are handled entirely by our checkout provider under its own policy. We never see your payment details.
Booking help (Travelpayouts Drive): tour and cabin links inside guides are managed by Travelpayouts, which loads its own script to turn brand links into affiliate links, suggest booking widgets, and measure bookings. It sees pages viewed so it can place offers where they help.
Anonymous visits: the host may log basic technical data (pages viewed, approximate region) to keep the site running.

What we never do

No selling your email. No cross-site tracking pixels beyond the email provider's own delivery measurement. No accounts for anyone under 13 — this site is written for adults.
